Beth Topolovsky

As an executive within tech companies in Silicon Valley and Stockholm, I realized that my favorite part of my career was working closely with people to develop real satisfaction within their work. Being a fast climber isn’t as rewarding if you don’t also feel purpose in what you’re doing, internally and within your profession. From early in my career, I explored technics that helped me perform at a higher level and even today, my most favorite topic is ‘how to excel in business’. Running the mentoring program at The American Chamber of Commerce in Sweden has been so fulfilling on all levels; from the personal to the professional. True North is a natural progression to developing ourselves professionally, from the inside up!

Being passionate about professional and personal development, I actively participated in many different workshops and programs to keep myself up to date. A few years after I moved to Stockholm, I got to know about the AmCham Mentoring Program and became a participant. That's how I met Beth and started assisting her in the program. Later, we both came up with an idea about a group where members would get updated, cutting edge information and build skills in a continuous set-up. That's how the True North Group started.

Inspiration is good but not enough and I think that supporting each other while achieving our goals makes a huge difference. I’m personally always focused on practical and implementable solutions, combined with a scientific approach. That’s True North for me. Join!
